My history as an artist started when I could first hold a pencil. My great-grandmother taught me the most basic of beginnings, and from there on, art was my first love.

That was over twenty-five years ago. Since then I have honed my skills. I taught myself much of everything and sharpened my skills by earning a degree in Studio Art. Life has not been without struggle, but art has always been here for me —even when disability has made it hard to do. It was my greatest escape growing up, and remains an outlet now.
